There is a racial discord but not as blatant as the class one. The dominant religion in Venezuela is Roman Catholicism. Despite sharing 25 different indigenous dialects, the paramount language is Spanish. In some of the major urban landscapes, English is heard frequently. Venezuela’s music is what is most fascinating; it is a combination of African and European sounds. The highest waterfall in the world is in Venezuela. It is called Angel Waterfall. They have the world’s longest cable car at Merida. The Amazon jungle stretches into Venezuela as well. They have tremendous mountains which is part of the Andes. The Andes are actually part of the same chain which split the US; here they care called the Rockies’. It is the longest mountain chain in the world. They have abundant game in the grasslands of Los Llanos.     

Amazing places in Venezuela for sightseers are all around. One is the Archipielago Los Roques which is an amazing coral island that is ringed by white sandy beaches. This is heaven for sunbathers, snorkelers, divers, windsurfers and even kites surfers who thoroughly enjoy this natural mecca.

Venezuela’s capital is Caracas. It shares so many different types of restaurants, lavish hotels, gorgeous theaters, clothing shops, astonishing museums, and a booming nightlife for the younger folks. Would all this be better if Chavez did not have his hands in every part of the community, probably?
           

Venezuela has magnificent colonial architecture. This is mainly in Coro town where the mansions, buildings, and houses are spectacularly built. There is a world class resort at Isla de Margarita where sunbathing and relaxation are off the norm. Those who want to experience the rural aspects of this fine country, Los Llanos would be the place to seek out. There are many species of birds there and other types of animals. There are Venezuelan cowboys and this same theme holds some genuine music for this culture, joropo and coleo. This is ideal for the holidays. The adrenaline junkies will want to jump on over to Merida. They have trekking and paragliding to mention just some of the cardinal activities here.
