Guyana is a country of diverse culture, languages and traditions. Being a United Nations recognized country; it shares its boundaries with Suriname, Brazil, Venezuela and Atlantic Ocean.This beautiful country is also called as a “land of six people” that encompasses Europeans, East Indians, and Portuguese & Africans. Also, it comprises of significant number of Chinese and Amerindians.
The country experiences tropical climate all over the year with 28 degree Celsius. Besides this, populace here witnesses two rainy seasons in a year. The population mainly comprises of East Indians and Africans. Moreover, all the people here live on the coastal areas which is either low or above the sea level. The interior regions are usually undeveloped rain forests.
In addition to this, religion here plays an imperative role. Almost half of the total population is Christian while the other comprises of Muslims and Hindus with a limited number of Bahais. The culture becomes pretty diverse. The most important attractions of this place include natural beauties such as Kaieteur, the biggest waterfall which is about 741 feet high.
Furthermore, the highest point is Mount Roraima in the country of Guyana which is over 2835 meters in length. The river which has gained utmost significance in the history of Guyana is Essequibo River which is the longest river here and makes the place famous in its own way.
