• Brazil, being the largest country in Latin America, is also its top tourist destination. It is the fifth largest of the world. Brazil is sized at 8,514,876.599 square kilometers. Brazil has a long coast line of nearly seven thousand three hundred and sixty seven kilometers.
• Brazil is home to several archipelagos islands. The group of islands that are very popular among tourists are Fernando de Noronha, Trindade e Martim Vaz, Atoldas Rocas and Penedosde Sao Pedro e Sa Paulo.
• The motto of Brazil as inscribed on the flag is Order and Progress.
• Brazil has 26 States and they are all represented as stars on the flag. They have one federal district. Every state has a governor and is elected by voting.
•  Brazil is on the coast of Atlantic Ocean and the other side borders Central South America. The other countries bordering are Guyana, Venezuela and Suriname.
• The highest peak of Brazil is Pico Da Nebina standing at 9,735 feet. There are several other mountain ranges with similar heights on coast of Atlantic Ocean.
• Brazil is home to several main rivers of the world like the Amazon, Madeira, Tapajos, Parana, Igacu, Negro and Xingu. These rivers are very important from the agriculture point of view.
