This place has an exclusive wild life. Yemen was established on May 22, 1990 and it is about the size of France. Pro-Western Yemen and the Marxist Yemen Arab Republic merged after 300 years of separation to form the new nation called Yemen. Its capital is Sana’a. Yemen has an estimated total population of more than 23 million and this country is a Muslim state. Yemen occupies the southwest tip of the Arabian Peninsula on the Red Sea opposite Ethiopia and extends along the southern part of the Arabian Peninsula on the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. This place is very intriguing to people because of its history and significance and hence has a lot of people coming from various parts of the world.

It has Saudi Arabia in the North and Oman is to the east. Yemen occupies the total area of  527,968 sq km which is inclusive of Perim, Socotra, the former Yemen Arab Republic (YAR or North Yemen), and the former People's Democratic Republic of Yemen (PDRY or South Yemen) Perim, Socotra , the former Yemen Arab Republic (YAR or North Yemen), and the former People's Democratic Republic of Yemen (PDRY or South Yemen). Yemen has over 200 islands and Socotra is the largest of them all. Yemen is the only republic on the Arabian Peninsula and one of eight in Arab.  Yemen is a low income country which depends on oil resources for revenue.
