Yemen, officially known as the Republic of Yemen lies in the Middle East, bordering the Arabian Sea, Gulf of Aden and Red sea, between Oman and Saudi Arabia. |
Yemen has a land area of close to 530,000 Sq km and it has a population of close to 23 million. The history of Yemen goes back to the 1200-650B.C. (Minaean Kingdom) and 750-115 B.C. (Sabaean Kingdom). The Republic of Yemen was formed in 1990. On the Arabian republic Yemen is the only republic. Yemen’s capital is Sana’a. Yemen is one of the countries which is rich with art and humanities. People in Yemen believe in living life king size. People there value their lives and try to live with utmost pleasure. It is one of the favourite and regular tourist’s destinations.
Tourists love coming back to this place because people in Yemen are known to be very friendly and they are the ice breakers. One can enjoy a lot in their company and see around the place. Yemen also has many historical and tourist sites which are comparable to Arab and worldwide sites. The national language of Yemen is Arabic. The other languages which are spoken in Yemen are Mehri, Soqotri, socotra, bathari and Hobyot. This place is very rich in culture as it has influence from many other civilizations. This makes this place very alluring and interesting to the tourists. People are very warm and welcoming; you would want to visit it again.
