Over the years it’s been found out that there are plenty of plants of different verities which have adapted themselves up according to the environment. Along the western coast from south to north, at the saline sabka flats of Abu Dhabi turn into sandy plains dotted  with halophyte vegetation like salsola imbricate and Zygophyllum mandavillei with a few stunted Tamarix. These plants can deal with salts very well or we can say they have learnt how to do it over a period of time. This is what we call adaptation I believe. You learn to leave in unfavourable conditions and I think this is smthing which we should also learn from them as humans. Plants or nature is what God has created and should always be nurtured and this is what can be learnt from the UAE.

Many plants in the UAE have healing factors which are used towards healing diseases and wounds.  There is desert vegetation too which includes shrubs, bushes and trees which are planted far away from each other. The Ghaf is the dominant tree. The abundance of plant species depends on different factors like aridity, soil texture and salinity. Nature’s beauty is something which is a visitor’s delight. Climate is one of the major factors that determine the species of the plants and UAE is majorly desert and its cooler towards eastern mountains.
