The temperatures are really high during the summer seasons. Winters are short and cool. June, July, August and September are the summer months in Kuwait. Summers are hot and temperatures rise to above 48 degrees C. The dry heat is combined with dust. There are heavy sandstorms through the months of June and July. The sandstorms can sometimes last for days and even weeks. It affects every aspect of the life in Kuwait including travel, health and so on. After the sandstorms, temperatures sometimes rise to over 50 degrees C. By August and September, the dryness in the atmosphere gives way to humidity.
Humidity is as high as 90% during this time. October and November mark the autumn season in Kuwait. The climate is really pleasant during this time and this is the ideal time to visit Kuwait. Temperatures fall to the thirties at the start of autumn and fall to upper and mid twenties towards the end of autumn. In October and November, there are bound to be heavy thunderstorms and hailstorms. These mark the onset of the winter season. After thunderstorms and hailstorms, the temperatures begin to dip.
Winter lasts through the months of December, January, February and parts of March. Days in winter are cloudy or partly sunny and cool. Nights are very cold with temperatures close to zero degrees C. Sometimes, there is fog which can greatly affect visibility. There is some rainfall during the winter season here. The spring season lasts from March through May. Days are sunny, warm and pleasant with temperatures ranging from the mid twenties to mid thirties. There may be thunderstorms in the afternoons or evenings.
