There are also some privately owned camps on the west side of the park. Some camps fall under the luxurious category where you get all the modern amenities like AC and flush toilets. Others are basic camps with toilets and basic amenities, and are located deep in the wilderness. The price for lodging facilities inside the Kruger National Park is based on the luxuries provided.

You can also camp in the forest, and all the camp sites are fenced with electric wires. Also, a camp guide will be assisting you and guarding through the night. Just the experience of staying in these jungles can be adventurous enough.

Kruger National Park is an eco-tourist destination and therefore plastics are not allowed inside the park. No commercial products can be carried into the park. Whatever you need is available within the park vicinity, and many resorts have their own eco-friendly shops.
