Kruger is a huge National Park, and it is roughly about the size of Belgium. There are some private game reserves also within the park. The Park is divided into 12 camps and some are luxury lodges, while others are basic lodges.

One can find the famous big five of Africa here, and since there are so many species that prey hunting is a common sight here. You see the lions, cheetahs and leopards hunting mainly or engaging in fights with the other big animals like rhinos and elephants.

Kruger is the only best preserved national park that is accessible, and it considered to be South Africa’s pride. Spotting a rhino had become a big problem in South African national parks. However, after consistent efforts, one can spot the white and black rhinos at the Kruger National Park today.

The Park has been best preserved due to its conservation efforts. All materials used here are eco-friendly. All the camps have been instructed to use bio degradable materials and so also the visitors. Safaris are conducted during the day and night in the Park.

The ideal months to visit the park are May to September. However, every season has its own specialties. Rains are also spectacular in Africa and the thunderstorms are worth watching. Nowhere else in the world can you see such clear skies and million stars in the world!
