The peculiar sight is that the forest is thickly populated with camel thorn trees. People who visit this park sight the most number of lions and cheetahs. Most camps have all modern amenities like pool, shop, and AC or refrigerators.

If you are lucky and visit in the right season, then you may spot a game or two in the park. You have an option either to stay in one of the resorts or else camp in the wild. You will typically be camping on sand dunes that overlook a water hole. Most animals would come there in the night.
 

There are several villages throughout the park where the camps are located. Most of these camps are surrounded by desert and sand dunes. These are a part of the Kalahari Desert. You not only see the big five of Africa, but also get to see a bit of desert wildlife. Many birds like eagles, vultures and ospreys hunt here.

Botswana is culturally diverse with several tribes. Other than the national park you can also shop for local product like wooden carvings made by the tribes.
